Teryn Mattox is the director of research at GiveWell. GiveWell’s mission is to identify the most cost-effective charities so that donors can maximize their impact. Prior to GiveWell, Teryn spent 12 years as a quantitative public policy researcher at the RAND Corporation. She holds a B.A. in economics from Pomona College and an M.P.A./I.D. from Harvard Kennedy School.
