Miranda is a writer and social worker. Her essays have appeared in the New York Times, The Yale Review, The Virginia Quarterly Review, and the Los Angeles Review of Books. She has master’s degrees in both child development and social work and has worked for over 10 years with children ranging in age from 3 to 19. She lives in Rhode Island.
