Christopher is a pulmonologist and critical care physician at Massachusetts General Hospital, an assistant professor of medicine at Harvard Medical School, and a teaching associate at the HMS Department of Health Care Policy. He is a federally funded health services researcher with board certifications from the American Board of Internal Medicine in internal medicine, pulmonary diseases, and critical care medicine. He is the co-author, with Anupam Jena, of Random Acts of Medicine: The Hidden Forces That Sway Doctors, Impact Patients and Shape Our Health, and the Random Acts of Medicine newsletter on Substack. Through his work, he hopes to find opportunities to create higher value and more equitable health care for everyone.
